We believe that when it comes to giving glory to God, there is no song loud enough, no word eloquent enough, no light bright enough, no image beautiful enough to match what God has done for us. But, that doesn’t stop us from trying.
We come together every week to sing and laugh and learn and serve in a way that we hope honors God.
We try to do this in a way that “helps people pursue God through Biblical truth, genuine community and life transformation".
On most Sundays we’ll sing for a while and when you’re ready, we hope you’ll join in the music. We’ll teach for a while and when you’re ready, we hope you’ll hear the truth. Along the way, there may be laughing, prayer, silence, guitar solos, Bible reading, clapping, babies crying, and neglected cell phones ringing. But on any given Sunday, whatever happens, we hope that regardless of how you arrived, you encounter the Most High God.
We want The River to be a place where you can fit in. Laugh. Find a second chance. You'll find that jeans are the norm. Messages are about real life. And risk-taking is encouraged. We are determined to change the world... one life at time. Sound refreshing?
